Dr. Joyce Honors Pennsylvania Dairy Farmers

June 28, 2021

Washington, DC Congressman John Joyce M.D. (PA-13) recently marked National Dairy Month by honoring the hardworking Pennsylvania dairy community for their steadfast service to the American people. Dairy products, including whole milk, are nutrient-rich resources for children and families.

"Dairy farmers go to work every day of the year to produce safe and healthy food for the American people. Despite mounting regulations and obstacles, these hardworking men and women continue to persevere," said Dr. Joyce.

"This robust industry is a key part of our local community and our economy," he continued. "It is truly my privilege to stand up for dairy farms and to serve as their voice in Congress as we seek to eliminate barriers to their success."

Congressman Joyce represents nearly 20 percent of Pennsylvania dairy farms, which are home to more than a quarter of the commonwealth's dairy cows. This robust industry is a key part of our local economy and workforce. Watch Dr. Joyce's full remarks here.
