Rep. Joyce Joins President Trump in Pittsburgh

Congressman John Joyce (PA-13) released the following statement after joining President Trump in Pittsburgh for his remarks to the Marcellus Shale Coalition’s 9th Annual Shale Insight Conference.

“Optimizing energy resources, including clean natural gas, is a critical priority for Pennsylvania and our nation. Clean natural gas drives the creation of good, high-paying jobs and lowers energy costs for families in PA-13 and across the country. Today it was a privilege to join President Trump in Pittsburgh as he highlighted the importance of the Marcellus Shale Coalition in our nation’s energy economy. Alongside President Trump, I will continue working to ensure that Americans can access affordable and efficient energy.”

Congressman Joyce is a strong supporter of Pennsylvania-produced clean energy. In Congress, he has worked to reduce regulatory burdens, boost innovation, and grow the job market to benefit our region.

Last month, Congressman Joyce welcomed Marcellus Shale Coalition President David Spigelmyer as a witness at a House Small Business Committee hearing exploring small businesses’ role in the clean energy sector.
