Congressman John Joyce: Democrats’ Spending Bill Hurts Pennsylvania Families

Washington, DC – Congressman John Joyce, M.D. (PA-13) released the following statement after voting against Democrats’ partisan, far-left reconciliation bill in the House of Representatives:

“Despite its deliberately misleading name, the latest Schumer/Pelosi spending spree will do absolutely nothing to ease the pain Pennsylvania families are feeling at gas stations and grocery stores today, tomorrow, or even months from now.  All this bill will do is increase taxes on those same families to help fund an over $350 billion liberal Green New Deal wish list. For these reasons and more, I voted against this legislation.”
