Dr. Joyce Announces $400,000 Grant for Altoona-Blair County Regional Airport

Altoona, PA Congressman John Joyce, M.D. (PA-13) today announced that the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) has awarded a discretionary grant to the Altoona-Blair County Airport Authority to enhance the runway.

"Enhancing physical infrastructure and refurbishing the airport runway is critical to ensuring the continued success of the Altoona-Blair County Regional Airport and its benefits for our community," said Dr. Joyce. "These improvements for both utility and safety will support the Blair County Regional Airport's mission to provide essential services and economic opportunities. As always, I remain committed to advancing true infrastructure improvements in Blair County."

The Altoona-Blair County Airport in Blair County will receive a total of $423,741.00 for the runway rehabilitation project.
