Dr. Joyce Appointed to Healthy Future Task Force

Washington, DC Congressman John Joyce M.D. (PA-13) today announced that he has been appointed to the Healthy Future Task Force by Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy to build consensus and find solutions to the most difficult challenges in health care.

"As a doctor, I have dedicated my career to serving patients and improving Americans' access to quality and affordable health care," said Dr. Joyce. "I am grateful to Leader McCarthy for appointing me to serve on the Healthy Future Task Force as we lead solutions to modernize and personalize America's health care system, push back on liberals' radical socialist health care schemes, and prioritize advancements and innovation."

The Healthy Future Task Force aims to solve challenges to the U.S. health care system, including lowering health care costs, advancing innovation, and crafting policies to equip our nation to secure medical supply chains and prepare for future health care challenges.

Background:

The Healthy Future Task Force is one of seven issue-specific task forces designed to identify and develop policy solutions to the issues facing the American people.

Members of the new Healthy Future Task Force also include Member Leads Devin Nunes (CA-22) and Brett Guthrie (KY-02), as well as Brad Wenstrup (OH-02), Mike Kelly (PA-16), Kevin Hern (OK-01), Rick Allen (GA-12), Victoria Spartz (IN-05), Mariannette Miller-Meeks (IA-02), Greg Murphy (NC-03), Jim Banks (IN-03), Richard Hudson (NC-08), Larry Bucshon (IN-08), Morgan Griffith (VA-09), Tom Cole, (OK-04), Bruce Westerman (AR-04), and Beth Van Duyne (TX-24).
