Dr. Joyce Celebrates Nominee Katherine Dunn On Her Acceptance into the U.S. Naval Academy

Washington, D.C. – Congressman John Joyce, M.D. (PA-13) congratulates Katherine “Kate” Dunn of Martinsburg on her appointment to the United States Naval Academy.
A senior at Central High School, Kate has demonstrated exceptional leadership, academic achievement, and a deep commitment to service. Her acceptance into the Naval Academy reflects years of hard work and determination.
“Please join me in congratulating Katherine Dunn on her well-earned appointment to the United States Naval Academy,” said Congressman Joyce. “Kate’s dedication to serving our nation, her strong academic record, and her commitment to excellence have distinguished her as a leader among her peers. As she takes this next step, I am confident she will represent our community with honor and distinction, while pursuing a future in service to our country. As her Representative in Congress, I was honored and privileged to nominate her to the U.S. Naval Academy.”
Congressman Joyce extends his gratitude to those who have supported Kate throughout her journey. He thanks her parents, Jenny and Chris Dunn, for their commitment to service and guidance, as well as Superintendent Dr. Betsy Baker and Principal Stephanie Thompson for their mentorship.
