Dr. Joyce Congratulates Nominee Franco Doydora on His Acceptance into the U.S. Military Academy

Washington, D.C. – Congressman John Joyce, M.D. (PA-13) congratulates Franco Doydora of Juniata County on receiving an appointment to the United States Military Academy. 

A graduate of Juniata High School and current sophomore at Dickinson College, Franco has distinguished himself among his peers through his commendable leadership, strong academic achievement, and consistent commitment to serving his community.  

“With this extraordinary achievement, please join me in congratulating Franco Doydora on his appointment to the United States Military Academy,” said Congressman Joyce. “Franco’s leadership in and out of the classroom and his steadfast commitment to serving something greater than himself make him exceptionally deserving of this honor. As his Representative in Congress, I was privileged to nominate Franco to the U.S. Military Academy, and I am confident he will continue to showcase the best of Pennsylvania’s 13th Congressional District as he serves our great nation.” 

Congressman Joyce also acknowledges those who have provided guidance to Franco throughout his journey, including his parents, RJ and Joanna Doydora. He extends his gratitude to Juniata County School District Superintendent Christie Holderman and Juniata High School Principal Kelli Strawser for their impactful mentorship throughout Franco’s academic career.
