Dr. Joyce Statement on Democrats’ Health Care Agenda

Congressman John Joyce, M.D. (PA-13) issued the below statement on H.R. 1425.

"Once again, House Democrats have demonstrated that they are more interested in pushing their radical health care agenda than delivering real solutions for the American people. Their most recent health care legislation would increase Obamacare's burdens on our health care system, give bureaucrats in Washington the power to set the price of prescription drugs, and prevent innovative treatments from reaching American patients. Especially as we battle the coronavirus pandemic, Americans simply can't afford House Democrats' deliberate attempts to slow medical innovation. Rather than continue wasting time on partisan legislation that has zero chance of becoming law, Congress should be working together to enact bipartisan solutions to protect Americans' access to quality and affordable health care."
