Rep. Joyce: There Is More That Unites Us Than Divides Us

Altoona, PA Ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday, Congressman John Joyce, M.D. (PA-13) released a video message emphasizing Americans' unity around our shared values and ideals.

Hello, I'm Congressman John Joyce.

Tomorrow, our nation will pause to reflect on the blessings that we enjoy. As Americans, we give thanks for our freedom and for those who have sacrificed to defend it.

Even in times that can feel divisive, I believe that there is more that unites us as American people than divides us.

While we may disagree on policy, Americans always can unite around our common goals and common ideals.

From combatting the drug crisis, to supporting our veterans, and equipping our men and women in uniform Congress is finding ways to deliver on our promise to you.

Truly, it is a pleasure to serve in the U.S. House of Representatives, and I give thanks for each of you.

My wife, Alice, and I wish you and your family a happy and safe Thanksgiving.
