Washington, D.C. – Yesterday, Congressman John Joyce, M.D. (PA-13) provided an update regarding ongoing efforts to secure federal assistance for Pennsylvania fruit growers impacted by the devastating freeze that struck the Commonwealth in April. A disaster declaration was issued for Adams, Cumberland, Franklin, and Perry Counties.

Washington, D.C. – Congressman John Joyce, M.D. (PA-13) issued the following statement after United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Secretary Brooke Rollins announced a Secretarial Disaster Declaration for Adams, Franklin, Cumberland, and Perry Counties in Pennsylvania’s 13th Congressional District, which were impacted by the devastating freeze that struck the Commonwealth in April. 

Washington, D.C. – In a letter to U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Secretary Brooke Rollins, Congressman John Joyce, M.D. (PA-13) urged the Secretary to issue a Secretarial Disaster Declaration for Pennsylvania fruit growers impacted by unprecedented low temperatures in April.

Washington, D.C. – Last week, the House Committee on Appropriations advanced the National Security, Department of State, and Related Programs Appropriations Act of 2027, which includes legislative language championed by Congressman John Joyce, M.D. (PA-13) to restore non-profit public library passport services through the 2027 Fiscal Year.

Washington, D.C. – This week, Congressman John Joyce, M.D. (PA-13), joined by Congressman Josh Riley (NY-19), introduced  H.R. 8414, the Defending Against Imitations and Replacements of Yogurt, Milk, and Cheese to Promote Regular Intake of Dairy Everyday or DAIRY PRIDE Act, bipartisan legislation aimed at ensuring the accurate labeling of dairy products and protecting consumers from misleading marketing. This legislation is expected to be considered at the Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Health Hearing on Wednesday, April 29, 2026.

Washington, D.C. – Last week, H.R.6398, the RED Tape Act, led by Congressman John Joyce, M.D. (PA-13), passed the U.S. House with bipartisan support and will now move to the Senate for consideration. The legislation would eliminate a duplicative environmental review process that imposes costly and unnecessary bureaucratic hurdles.
